Today was a good day.  It was the first day back after spring break, and it was a teacher work day, which meant that the kids weren't there.  Nice way to ease back into the swing of things.  I could not focus to save my life and got no work of my own done today.  I helped the other counselors and dealt with some parents, but that was it.  That's why I am so glad that it was a work day.  Having kids in the office would have made it 10 times worse.  I got to socialize with the counselors and see what everyone did over their break, so that was nice.  I actually left almost on time today, which was shocking for most people.  It's not uncommon for me to be in the office until 6:00 or 7:00 every evening, when my contract hours are over at 3:00.  I left at 3:30 today.

What made the day even better is that I had a present in the mail today.  (Thank you dearest!  It's gorgeous!)  I had a nice nap and then ate a good meal.  Read a little.  Perused LJ.  I'm trying to get motivated to finish sorting through my summer and winter clothes, which is not my favorite thing, but I am almost through with it.  I just want to have it done already, but that requires me to move.  Maybe I will get a good movie, pop it in and watch that as I finish the dreaded task.  Sounds like a plan.  I hope that everyone had as good a day as I did!
