Finally

Human Resources have finally posted the job that will replace my current job. Since it is a brand new position, I have to reapply. The closing date for the application is June 22nd, and rumor has it that the interviews will be June 26th. Hopefully, that means that I will know something shortly thereafter. While part of me feels that I will get the job, there is a part that wonders. I know that there are several well-qualified people that are applying for the 4 positions. One of the people in my office, George, told me that he is going to apply. I think he stands a good chance of getting one of the positions. Obviously, it would suck if he got hired and I didn't, but it would also suck if we both got hired. That would mean that he would go to another building from me. He's a good friend and an excellent worker. I know it's selfish of me, but part of me hopes that he doesn't get the job. I have got to update my resume. Runs off!
