have you ever...
Sep. 7th, 2006 09:35 pmHave you ever... been so tired that you started falling asleep while you were talking to someone? I mean mid-sentence. Yep, that was me today. Fortunately, it was after all of the students and parents had left the school and I was talking to my friend Jen. She looked at me and told me to go home immediately ot she was going to get the principal to make me go home. She's such a good friend that she didn't take it personally. She understands pushing herself too hard and being tired. She has fibromyalgia, so that's pretty much a state of being for her. I left the office shortly after that, came home and slept for a couple of hours. I feel a little better, but I think that I am going to crash again soon.
Have you ever... had to worry about cookies going stale? I just read an article in a magazine that said the best way to keep cookies from going stale is to put a slice of bread in the container. I have no doubt that the bread would work. However, I have personally have never needed to try this out. Cookies don't stick around long enough to go bad around my house. Who are the people who write these things in magazines? Probably the same people who just forget to eat. I hate those people. I have never forgotten to eat. Not had enough time to eat? Yes. Forgotten? Hell no.
Have you ever... walked into a piece of furniture that has been in the same spot for years? That was me. We have a conference table in our meeting room and I managed to walk into it with enough force that I have a knot on the side of my leg and a pretty bruise, all purple and blue. That's right. Just call me Grace.
